I graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2008 and a Master’s degree in General Experimental Psychology in 2010. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in social psychology at Texas A&M University under the mentorship of Dr. Rebecca Schlegel. Broadly, my research interests relate to the self, cultural/social identities, self-stereotyping, and well-being. More specifically, I’m interested in investigating research questions regarding the cognitive structure of the “true self”, “true self” flexibility, and implications of self-structure on well-being.
